The Primeval ~~Minotaur~~ fights much like normal [[Ultra]] Taken Captains. Players should be wary of its [[Shrapnel Launcher]], which can kill them in a few bursts at short range. The Primeval Captain teleports very often, and fires Darkness Bolts even twice in a row. Getting too close to the Primeval will prompt it to smash the ground in an Ultra Smash attack. The Primeval Captain and its [[Primeval Envoy]]s are accompanied by hordes of [[Taken Vandal]]s.
