From a cliff, the Guardian then destroys hordes of Shanks led by the [[Hoarder of Tainted Light]]. Although they had succeeded in retrieving a large amount of Dark Ether, the barrel was still missing. Using the Hoarder's data, Crow discovers the coordinates of the barrel's location. As the Guardian returns to camp for the campfire, Crow tells Cayde he understands his hatred for him, but that they should ultimately stick together. Astonishingly, Cayde reveals to Crow that he doesn't hate him or Uldren, as they had both lost everything by falling into the enemy's hands. Still consumed by guilt, Crow apologizes to Cayde for murdering him as the Awoken Prince, to which Cayde accepts his apology. | ||
