'''Ixilec, Voltaic Voice''' was a [[Psion Flayer]] that lead a reclamation force trying to reclaim Terrabase Charon from the Taken. She canonically survives her encounter with the party regardless of the choice they make, and she is later seen as a visitor to the party's Bastion.
==History==
Ixilec is a powerful Psion Flayer, she was found by Fireteam Jaeger Shade leading a squad of [[Red Legion]] cabal in their reclamation of their mines in the Changed Land. They would succeed thanks to the party's help and Ixilec would survive her encounter with them.

Seeing her as a threat, [[Forum:The Whispered Silence|The Whispered Silence]] would move to exert psionic pressure on them till they died. This action would come to fruition during a night after the party arrived to slay the beast. As her head would explode, the warning was clear, "leave or suffer the consequences." Her corpse would be left where it was dropped. However her legacy would see to an end for the creature. Months later thanks to a contingency given the danger; Ixilec was restored via a clone backup. However, recovered memories from her original would be returned to her. Her only regret not being able to put that creature down herself. But she is thankful to the fireteam.

==Gameplay==
Ixilec serves as the first boss of the mission; [[Forum:Sacrilege|Sacrilege]].

Ixilec spawns from her rift once the party engages her troops in battle. She will remain open to damage for most of the fight but will use her [[Cabal Slug Shotgun]] and [[Cabal|guards]] to defend her. She also can melee a target with an additional knock-back ability to counter any melee-based attacker. On occasion, she will cast her Psionic Powers, calling down pillars of [[Arc]] energy that can decimate a [[Guardian]]'s health. Due to their high damage output, this attack should be avoided; so the [[Fireteam]] should look out for and avoid the blue markers on the ground, indicating where these pillars will strike. Once a third of her health is lost, she will teleport to another location in the arena summon a [[Shieldbearer Incendior]] as their champion, when the Shieldbearer is slain. Ixilec will be open to damage once again.
