'''The House of Fear''' are a House of [[Fallen]] Splicers and slavers. They are mainly known for their unorthodox experiments and unique views on [[The Traveler]] and [[The Darkness]]. They were a late player in the War for Sol as they were pillaging other systems. They first take up lair in Riis-Reborn, stealing it from Salvation fallen and repurposing it. The House of Fear made the remaining House Salvation on Europa their slave vassal and often mistreated them. They are also infamous for their large amount of Splicers, cruelty, war crimes, and willingness to enslave other species including their own. The House of Fear also uses a unique SIVA blade to eliminate Guardians permanently, however these are only given to high ranking lieutenants. More recently, they have come under the command of the [[Forum:Xavias, Kell of Fear|Xavias, Kell of Fear]], who seeks to use every single unique power of Sol: including the light and darkness.

===Taking Control of Europa===
First their Ketch, Fearship Emiks-Syn docked above Gale’s Watch. Their skiffs arrived at the Gale's Watch exterior landing pad, the area where Eramis used to be frozen. Then a team of Fallen were dispelled from the Skiff and secured Gale's Watch, taking the House Salvation members prisoner and saying they'd explain later. The team continued on, striking a deal with a [[Forum:Orathiks, the Archangel|Captain]] who used comms to tell his men to stand down. The Salvation members shut off the cannons protecting the air space of Riis Reborn and the Fear Skiffs entered the base. The team arrived in Kell's Rising and eliminated all of the Vex units using a Splicer in the team. Securing Ether Caches and sending them away on Skiffs. As the team and skiffs arrived in Technocrat's Iron they quickly secured the military factory and loaded in more of their troops. Finally a small recon squad secured Riis-Reborn Approach. Calling in all of the Salvation Fallen to the large meeting room of Riis-Reborn, the House of Fear gave them an announcement. They enslaved House Salvation, subjecting them as their workers and test subjects. As well as that they would force some to fight, killing all deserters. But there was a chance for Salvation here, those that proved themselves had a chance at becoming part of House Fear itself. The next months were devoted to the settling of Fear troops and the work of Salvation Fallen. When House Salvation tried to rebel, House Fear would quickly put it down, even hosting public executions. Salvation eventually lost hope, giving in to Fear's strict punishments. Evix, the Investigator served as a strict warden and leader of the house while Mirks seemed to command them. When a guardian patrol, however, encountered these new Fallen, a war that would be remembered in both Fallen and Human history would begin.
===First Guardian Encounter===
Pretty much having no idea what the Guardians were, the House of Fear initially underestimated them. That lead to a devastating first battle. The Guardian Patrol managed to eliminate a whole entire unit of House of Fear troops before they understood what they were dealing with. Then they sent their Light-Nullifying Splicers in. These Splicers could crush Ghosts just like Guardians did to Hive. Many guardians died and the rest of the patrol gathered their dead and ran. When The Guardian was deployed to investigate the patrol's findings, [[Mithrax, Kell of Light]] originally believed House Salvation was under their control like the House of Wolves, willingly. But when House Salvation Dregs tried to run to the Guardian with their hands raised, unarmed, and were shot down by House of Fear snipers, the horrifying truth was brought to light. The Guardian quickly passed through Riis-Reborn, noticing changes. They arrived in an unseen before area, a Fallen neighborhood deeper in Riis Reborn. However there was lots of watchtowers for the House of Fear to watch over the Salvation and the Guardian even witnessed from afar a Vandal beat a Dreg down. The Guardian finally arrived in the command center of Gale's Watch to a horrifying sight. Fallen Vandals and Dregs attached to glowing tubes in these strange pods. The Guardian watched through the glass door as a [[Dreg]] was shoved into one of the pods and attached to the tubes. Then a captain was about to be shoved in but freed itself and killed its captors. It opened the door to the Guardian, letting them in and getting them. He announces himself as [[Forum:Arriks|Arriks]]. You and Arriks fight together against a wave of House Fear troops and enslaved House Salvation. But then a new Splicer arrives. Mithrax notes he has never seen this kind of power before and The Guardian fights them. After a difficult and laborious fight, the Guardian eliminates the Splicer.
===Attack on The Reef===
A House of Fear contingent led by Orathiks, the Archangel arrived in The Dreaming City’s orbit with a Ketch. They deployed a few skiffs and a team secured one of the buildings in the city as well as the place where Riven was killed. When The Vanguard discovered their operations, the Guardian was dispatched to bring them down. When Orathiks and his men finally arrived at Riven’s Corpse to try and loot it, The Guardian was already on site. Eliminating the defense force that had holed in the tower, they destroyed the four skiffs launching back up to the force inside the tower and then continued on. Now trapped, Orathiks sent in his only remaining lieutenant to the front line. Though the lieutenant had enough time to set up traps and turrets, they were still defeated by the Guardian. Finally, the Guardian confronted Orathiks, now a second time. Eliminating the Baron, they managed to secure the area from the Fallen.
===Rebirth of Orathiks===
Orathiks’ corpse was recovered by a small team of Splicers lead by [[Forum:Joriks|Joriks]] who managed to get in undetected. From there, they took Orathiks to a nearby safehouse in the Dreaming City and put him within cyro. As the Splicers awaited the extraction skiff, they held off a few waves of [[Taken]]. They were eventually extracted and made it back safely without interference. The contingent who brought Orathiks back took him to Riis-Reborn.
===War against the Vanguard===
After hunting down a powerful Captain of the House, the Guardian returned  on foot to the Bunker with their head. Evix, the House Enforcer for Fear and leader of its intelligence division, tracked The Guardian to the bunker. Gathering his forces, Evix lead a brutal attack on the bunker. After capturing House of Light and House of Spider residents of the Bunker, he tested their combat skills. He enslaved Spider’s Associates, and found the House of Light members weak. So he sent a video recording to Mithrax and The Vanguard of him executing the prisoners. In retaliation, The Guardian hunted down Periks, Fear Baroness. She was leading an expedition to [[Nessus]]. Arriving on Nessus, [[Empress Caiatl]] briefed the Guardian on the House of Fear's attack on [[Halphas Electus]]. They had somehow made it inside and eliminated most of Caiatl's skeleton crew. The Guardian heads inside, eliminating Periks' lieutenant and more of their soldiers. Making it to the arena area, they fight Periks, who transmats in the last second to her Ketch: [[Forum:Fearship Vilos-Fel|Fearship Vilos-Fel]]. Fighting to reach the Ketch, they secretly hijack one of the [[Skiff]]s to reach the ship. Inside, they find Periks and eliminate her. Evix, Koliks, and Reniks all got into an argument and Koliks stormed off. A few days of silence reign in between, but it's clear something big is coming. The Coalition's Fallen and the Vanguard prepare their troops, and it seems the Vex have also been gathering. The House of Fear prepare their defenses. Meanwhile, Koliks and Reniks were called to the operation room on the Ketch where they studied the Darkness. Confused as to why Evix called them there, they notice him near the door. Evix locks them into the operation room and takes over the House before declaring martial law. Evix then moves to meet Mithrax, Eramis, Variks and The Guardian while Koliks attempts to fix his broken transmat system. The meeting with Evix is a fiasco, as Evix just insulted them and told the Guardian he was working with a bunch of cowards. So the Coalition prepares their attack and while they prepare on a House of Light Ketch, Koliks transmats to them abruptly with his hotwired system. He explains everything and then agrees that if they bring down Evix, he will make a truce.
===The Battle for Riis-Reborn===
The [[Vex]] had recognized the Fallen intruders and had hence activated a return protocol for the [[Forum:Sol Infiltrative|Sol Infiltrative]]. The Hunting Mind had returned. They gathered up their forces near the outskirts of Riis Reborn and launched their attack from the tunnels. Meanwhile, The Coalition's invasion force readied up in the [[Eventide Ruins]]. From there, the Guardian and Mithrax headed the attack. The battle was brutal, with deaths on both sides as the Guardian cleared passed through Riis-Reborn approach. He couldn't stop to help those fighting in the battle at Approach because he had an Enforcer to kill. So he passed through as quickly as possible and eventually reached 
===The Inbetween===
During this time, the House of Fear was lead by Reniks and Koliks. They were virtually peaceful with Guardians and didn't really maintain contact except Eido talking to Koliks and asking them questions about the voyage to Sol. When Xavias' coup was carried out, the Coalition had no knowledge of it other than the fact that the House of Fear had gone dark. Additionally, all Fear patrols were called back into Riis-Reborn by Xavias to prepare their exodus. Salvation remnants took their place. Meanwhile, in the EDZ, Guardians on patrol noticed a singular House of Fear skiff with a Captain seemingly trying to recruit the House of Dusk. Though the conversation was in Eliksni, so Guardians couldn't understand what they were saying. They brought a recording of the incident, though the audio was choppy and Mithrax would only make out the words "times have changed." The recruitment of Dusk fallen was odd for two reasons: House of Fear aren't supposed to be on Earth, and also they were extremely xenophobic to anyone not born into the house(with few exceptions). Meanwhile, Xavias(with the support of the Fearkeepers) had taken over leadership with ease, and Xavias had now sent one of their Ketches and Prime Servitors to his new lab and outpost: the Atlas Complex. There he began his studies, first with Stasis.
===The New Kell===

===First-Strike===
The Guardian, Saladin, and the [[Iron War Beast]]s were training at an abandoned research outpost in Europa. After defeating the Vex stationed there, the Guardian exited the facility and was ambushed by Xavias and Neriks. They revealed that the situation had changed and Xavias would achieve a great power, before returning to their Ketch, [[Forum:Fearship Emiks-Syn|Fearship Emiks-Syn]] with a kidnapped Saladin. Some of the War Beasts were executed. The Guardian met with Caiatl and then immediately b-lined towards Riis Reborn. The House of Fear there was packing up shop and planning to finally leave the area. The Guardian fought through the base and made it to Gale’s Watch. Xavias taunted the Guardian but left Saladin with Warden Solaks. The Warden and Guardian fought, and the Guardian won and saved Saladin.
===Battle for the Moon===
Meanwhile, Neriks and Xavias headed to the Moon with [[Forum:Fearship Emiks-Syn|Fearship Emiks-Syn]] and [[Forum:Fearship Vilos-Fel|Fearship Vilos-Fel]].
===The Ether Refinery===
Emiks Reborn was transported VIA the Fearship Emiks-Syn to the [[Forum:Ether Refinery|Ether Refinery]] in the [[European Dead Zone]]. There, the new Archon [[Forum:Eyksis, Archon Rising|Eyksis]] was able to do some actual good and spread Ether to all Fallen. The House of Light even collaborated with him. But when the war with the Guardians started up again, the House of Light received a shipment of spiked Ether that resulted in multiple deaths. The Guardian needed to get Ether for the House since the House of Light servitors wouldn’t provide enough. The goal was to convince Eyksis and his contingent to still deal out un-poisoned Ether or kill Eyksis and take over the facility for the House of Light. During the mission, they discovered from workers at the factory that there was only a small group of House of Fear troops present and that Eyksis was actually from the House of Dusk despite being appointed Archon of the House of Fear. When they found Eyksis and the Prime Servitor, he told them that he wanted to spread Ether for everyone no matter the house and the Guardian agreed that it was a noble goal. However Eyksis revealed that he couldn’t let that happen because of his Kell’s orders. Then [[Ghost]] and [[Ikora]] began to panic and the comm line was jammed. Eyksis revealed that he had no choice in the part he played in this trap, and apologized for what would happen next. [[Forum:Kormak of House Fear|Kormak of House Fear]] then dropped down and fought the Guardian but The Guardian won.

==Structure==
===Overall===
The main house leader depends on what time period you're looking at, but it's more unique than other Houses. Any current Archon usually spends their time with the Splicers only, and are ordered to focus on tech production. At some points, the archon Reniks was forcefully locked away by both the old Kell and Xavias to make sure they focused on work. The Prime Servitors serve as gods still, as the House of Fear tend to act more like traditional fallen. Then below the Archons is a unique group known as House Enforcer. These are important Fallen that rank above Barons. There is never more than one Enforcer. Barons serve as generals, lead slavers, and are promoted by Enforcers to serve the House, which is a great honor. Then there are the Fearkeepers who serve as bodyguards, elite soldiers, and deadly assassins. Below that they have standard Fallen command system and have enslaved Salvation troops as soldiers. They will shoot deserting troops. The house has at least three Ketches, at least three main Prime Servitors, and are the current most powerful house in Sol.
===Under Reniks===
The House of Fear is led by their two Archons, an enforcer named Evix, and two Barons. Reniks doesn't actually interact much with the house other than the Splicers and stay locked in their vault on the [[Ketch]]. However, the archon Koliks leads the house. The Enforcer pretty much leads the battles and serves as a direct subordinate to the Archons. The Barons on the other hand interact with the house a bit more. Mirks actually does stuff like recruiting new members but he is often away from most of the House due to his crusades to become a liaison with other houses or even species. Also he just kind of does his own thing but he’ll visit the house every now and then when they need someone to command it.  Orathiks is really just a mercenary and leads a hit squad but other than that doesn’t actually lead the House.  Below them are a group of [[Splicer]]s who pretty much command the house because the high-ranking guys don’t. 
===Under Xavias===
Due to Xavias interacting with the darkness, he now has a hunger for every individual power in the system: including light. When he took power, he didn't kill Reniks but just locked her away in the ketch and forced her to develop ways to contain the various abilities of sol. Reniks kept things mostly the same but after the death of Evix, he appointed a new House Enforcer named Neriks. Neriks is responsible for conquering Fallen outposts and Xavias puts them in the hands of his trusted Captains.
