'''Hollowed Godslayers''' are unique [[Ultra]] [[Vanquisher]]s raised by the heretical sorcerers of [[Forum:The Banished Swarm|The Banished Swarm]]. Merely empty, armored husks piloted by knots of Jade Lightning, these constructs were initially made sometime following [[Forum:Ir Dralcha, the Crownless Queen|Ir Dralcha's]] betrayal, and were used as weapons against the [[Hive]] pantheon to devastating effect. With the Banished Swarm ascendant thanks to the [[Forum:Echo of Obsession|Echo of Obsession]], many of these husks were, once again, deployed to serve as the vanguard of their forces.

==Gameplay==
Much like Vanquishers, these giant sword and shield-bearing warriors will try to rapidly close the gap between them and their opponents so as to cleave them into pieces. However, these units' shields are outright immune to destruction, but only use it to protect themselves if far enough away from their opponents. When closing the distance, they can either swipe or slam with their far larger [[Forum:Godslayer's Cleaver|Godslayer's Cleaver]] or bash or slam down with their shield, depending on where their target is, how they are reacting to their adversary or if there are nearby enemies among them. While they excel at melee engagement, they are capable of ranged attacks, either sending a horizontal arc of {{icon|Arc}} energy to dislodge opponents above them or unleash a {{icon|Arc}} wave of energy to propel their enemies into the air. If their adversaries continue to be evasive, they can fiercely slam their shields into the ground to devastating effect and apply the Tremor debuff to anyone on the ground in range-they can also hold this attack to bait far more elusive Guardians into wasting their jumps for too long.

Upon losing half of their health, they will temporarily lose their balance before being overtaken by the voltaic energies that give them life. They are far more aggressive than before and gain new abilities on top of their existing moveset. Shouldering their shield, they will lift their cleaver into the air and charge it with Jade Lightning and slam it back down, creating a massive Arc and Strand explosion in front of them while also creating five to ten orbs of Jade Lightning that will track any enemy, slowly getting faster and faster until they impact a surface, slightly exploding upon connecting. Additionally, the Hollow Godslayer may shoulder their shield and grip their cleaver with both hands, their shield hand reaching high to the notch above. In this stance, the Godslayer will patiently eye a Guardian before attempting a powerful two-handed Squall Swipe, which they will either do horizontally or vertically, cleaving a great distance of the arena with the blade's Lightning charge. Although a formidable and challenging attack, Guardians can avoid it by patiently waiting to see which direction the blade is coming from (slight movement to the side indicates horizontal and slamming into the ground indicates vertical) and make a move to avoid it (jump for horizontal and sidestep for vertical). If no target is close enough, the Godslayer will rapidly chase the nearest target, blade dragging in the ground and unleash a devastating Wrath of the Storm blast instead, this time far less avoidable.
