It grants the user the ability to link with and alter the mind of an individual to make them more willing to follow the wishes of whoever wields the Echo. It would be used by Xal Tinar and his followers to gather a large following, utilising the Echo's power to bring the leaderless forces of the Witness under their control and compelling others into either [[Forum:Alak-Triph, Templar of the Nastareth|servitude]] or [[House of Salvation|con]][[Hive|ver]][[Vex|sion]]. Even paracausal individuals like Ascendant Hive and Guardians are not immune to it, though they are able to fight it somewhat and even resist it if they are stronger than the owner's power.
