After you have made your way to the end of the Lost Sector and eliminated all of the Vex occupying it, the boss will spawn to fend off the intruder. The Sacrificial Mind utilizes tactics that are typical of other Ultra-tier Minotaurs: it bombards its enemies Void projectiles from its Torch Hammer, and unleashing a powerful stomp attack if anyone gets too close, dealing large a amount of damage launching back away from it. The boss is supported by a number of weaker Vex reinforcements, consisting of Harpies and Hobgoblins, which it will summon more of after it has lost a significant of health. However, Alkestis is lacking in defensive abilities, and it can be very easily and quickly destroyed if the player is at a high enough Light level and uses powerful weapons. Once the Minotaur has been laid to waste, you will be granted the codes to the Lost Sector cache, from which you may claim your rewards.
