So in the Gameinformer article, it says that "Humans...are survivors of the Collapse picking up the pieces of civilization. The Awoken also survived the Collapse, but were forever changed; they appear otherwordly and aloof." Does that mean that the Awoken were once human but changed after the Collapse, or that they were a separate race but changed after the Collapse?
