The Talons of Xivu Arath are fought during [[Mission: Conjure]] and as a possible encounter in [[Altars of Summoning (activity)]]. At the beginning of the encounter, one will take shade form, becoming invulnerable and ~~usig~~ a [[Void]] powerset, while the other will remain material and use a [[Solar]] powerset. Once the vulnerable Talon reaches half health, it will take shade form as well, becoming invulnerable. To progress the battle, players have to find a spot to Invoke Hive Magic, which will make the other Wizard take material form. Increasingly powerful reinforcements will get constantly summoned as the encounter progresses, which include [[Blistered Knight]]s, [[Wrathborn]] [[Knight]]s with [[Cleaver]]s, and a massive Wrathborn [[Blistered Ogre]] with Powerful Offerings. When both Wizards are slain, the encounter is completed.
