Guardians

As the Dark Age approached its end, the Iron Lords' ideals, shaped through the hard work and trials of countless Lightbearers, finally saw the light of day. No longer do cruel Warlords rule, and no longer do humans have to fight their battles alone. Now, they unite at the foot of the Last City and face all Earth's incoming enemies together. At last, an era of light is being ushered in.

And in that bright future, those Lightbearers will refer to themselves with a new title conveying their responsibility: Guardians.

Radiancite

A special ore unique to Veridia.

The molecular structure of Randiancite is influenced by Light radiation, causing the ore itself to contain Light. It can be cast in the same way as other metals, but it can also be used as a source of Light. Miners in the Red Sea Rift have found that Radiancite is more likely to be found near the Sentinel.

Sentinel Armor

The fruits of Buhr and the Sand Eaters' study of the Light.

Sentinel armor is cast from armor cut from the Sentinel itself and allows the wearer to briefly wield the Light, even if they aren't favored by the Traveler. For paracausal entities already wielding the Light, the Sentinel armor greatly enhances their innate powers.

Ahamkara Runes

Wishes can take many forms, but regardless of language or culture, runes are the most favored way of all.

There are several ways to wish upon an Ahamkara: thinking it, speaking it, or using any known form of text to write it out. The Ahamkara can grasp the keywords "wish" or "want" regardless of form and make that wish reality.

People have realized that using runes to make wishes grants a more accurate result compared with other methods. Thus, different cultures developed their own unique wishing runes. This type is one that has been passed down in the Red Sea Rift.

You may hope to prevent your wish from being twisted, but bear in mind that the Ahamkara are quite willing to rise to the challenge.

Detector Drone

A type of common scanning equipment.

These detector-equipped drones are piloted via remote control and typically used to scan dangerous places or area humans cannot easily reach. The Veridian miners use them to find Radiancite.
