The fight with Calixte begins even before the Hydra appears, as destroying the Conflux summons a [[Seeker]] homing for the player's position. They should quickly destroy it to avoid getting caught detained when the Mind arrives. Calixte fires its [[Aeon Maul]] at a rapid pace, summons reinforcements to funnel the player, and can unleash a melee shockwave attack at close range, even multiple in quick succession. Its contained size enables Calixte to maneuver behind obstacles and gain additional cover on top of its roating shields.

When Calixte's health is reduced by a third, it will retreat, and summon a [[Gatekeeper Wyvern]] to maintain a barrier over the room's exits. Pursuing the Mind will lead the player to another room with a trapped Conflux, where the fight will repeat anew until another third of Calixte's health is removed. In the final room, Calixte will fight until its destruction.
