AIs are Golden Age artificial intelligences that were integrated into colony ships. Their intelligence is somewhat on par with that of a Ghost, and have pre-programmed genders.

Failsafe is the only known surviving AI. She is aboard the crashed Exodus Black colony ship on Nessus.
