Vals are the second lowest rank in the Cabal command structure, commanding Bracuses, yet subordinate to Valuses and Commanders, however there are some instances, where a Val is more superior than other Vals, Valuses, or other Cabal hierarchy, (i.e. Val Jo'arrc and Val Ca'uor). From their appearances around highly-valuable assets and the squads they are usually seen commanding, their ranks can be assumed to be akin to Captains and bodyguards.
