A Ghost [1] is a piece of equipment used by the Guardians. Appearing as a small, floating drone, Ghosts can support the player by performing certain actions such as illuminating darkened areas, repairing technology from the Golden Age, and informing the player of incoming hostile threats. They seem to possess either an artificial intelligence or virtual intellegence.

Trivia

The Ghost from the E3 2013 PS4 Presentation was voiced by Peter Dinklage. [2]
