Shank

Shanks are small flies used by the Fallen. They seem to fly using a pair of vertical jet engines, and are able to hover. Shanks are equipped with small energy weapons located on their underside. They appear to have a glowing red "eye" centered on their front. The main chassis is oval shaped, if a little boxy. A rod extends downward on either side, possibly to help stabilize the Shank, and the engines are located along the back section. Shanks are very fragile, and can be destroyed with only a few shots.[1] They can be deployed from Devil Walkers.Cite error: Invalid <ref> tag; invalid names, e.g. too many
Shanks acquire a Solar shield during Nightfall Strikes and certain Public Events, making them more difficult to dispatch.
