Thorn is a rare, or exotic, hand cannon located in Charlemagne’s Vault.[citation needed] It is most likely named after the thorn-like spikes on it. The weapon is sleek, dark black, with many spikes or "thorns" adorning the sides, facing the front of the weapon.

It is theorized that the Thorn is a revolver, as indicated by its apparent use of a cylindrical magazine. The Thorn is most likely a hand-cannon, as it shares some similarities with the Duke MK.44.[1]

Trivia

The Thorn has been labeled as the "yin" of the Destiny universe (as opposed to the Last Word, which is the "yang").[2]
