"'Don't spend your life looking for who you are, instead spend time to create who you want to be. Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.'"
— Viper-1

Backstory

Before Becoming a Guardian

Before Viper-1 became a guardian, he had a distant past that he never fully remembered. He grew up with 1 other brother, and they were known as the Andrews. Life wasn't very easy for him, he was typically picked on, bullied, trash-talked, etc, though his older brother usually stepped in and protected him. One day his older brother was injured in a wreck during the Golden Age, and his body was severely damaged. Still wanting to protect his brother, he became an Exo known as Xaush-367, so his injuries could be beneath him, and he continued protecting his younger brother. Eventually he got older, and decided that he was tired of Xaush protecting him, so he became an Exo himself now known as Viper-1. During this event he and Xaush were in the Cosmodrome, running away from many hordes of Fallen that were chasing them, but eventually they caught up with them. While they tried holding the Fallen off with their weak shotguns, eventually the Fallen tore them apart, and they all sadly were slain.

After Becoming a Guardian

Viper's eyes slowly opened up as he saw his Ghost talking, saying something about how they must leave as this is Fallen territory. He could see some Cabal warships off in the distance, but he carried on. Eventually his Ghost produced some Light as they entered a building, but then he could see multiple Dregs and Vandals crawling on the walls. Eventually he ran off, and grabbed a Weapon. His Ghost told him of how he was a Nightstalker Hunter, that followed the way of the Wraith, thus making him good for stealthy missions. As he snuck and jabbed his way through the building he eventually found a Vanguard Commander, who gave him the mission of finding his friends and a Hive witch. He found one of the Vanguard Commander's friends, but they were murdered in front of his eyes by the Hive Witch. The Witch then teleported away, as his Ghost told him the grim tale of how a Guardian can die. Eventually, after a long quest and his first sight of the Last City and Traveler he got a distress signal from somebody named the Spider. Soon after he met the House of Spider and became an associate, and that is where he stays currently.
