When this happens, the Hobgoblin will envelop itself in a dome-shield, becoming impervious to all damage while regenerating health, still firing on the enemies with its weapon while doing so. To prevent the Vex unit from regenerating, a [[Guardian]] should use Anti-Barrier abilities, such as Seasonal Artifact mods, to pierce the shield and stagger the champion while providing a window for damage. Barrier Hobgoblins fight much like any Major Hobgoblin until they take severe damage.
