The Warlock is a type of Guardian. Warlocks utilize the powers given by the Traveler (or "magic") as a mode of attack. One example of this have been creating shields, as seen in one piece of concept art.

Abilities

The Warlock has 3 special abilities.

Solar Flare: Conjure the power of the sun and release it like a grenade.

Nova Bomb: Channel some of the Traveler’s mysterious forces and unleash them in an explosive, large area-of-effect attack

Glide: Summons the forces around you to increase and sustain elevation after jumping.

Trivia

• In The Law Of The Jungle, the Warlock is seen about to perform an attack near the end of the trailer in which a ball of fire is held in between the hands. This may be a direct reference to the "Hadoken" attack of the Street Fighter franchise.
