The '''Weavers''' are a subtype group of [[Vex]] who are tasked with searching and recovering [[Axis Mind]]s destroyed or lost from the Vex Network. They seem to do this by using time travel to retroactively find a version of the lost Mind and bring it from its timeline to theirs. Another notable weaver is [[Quria, Blade Transform]] who weaved back [[Fantis, Oppressive Mind|the]] [[Dikast, Oppressive Mind|Oppressive]] [[Dimio, Oppressive Mind|Minds]] into Reborn versions of themselves that [[The Guardian]] must defeat and purge within their respective [[Taken]] [[Distributed Cognition Domain|Domains]].

==History==
===Origins===
The Weavers are tasked with recreating or searching for lost and destroyed [[Axis Mind]]'s. [[Quria, Blade Transform]] the oldest known Weaver, would lead an invasion of [[Oryx, the Taken King]]'s [[Court of Oryx|Throne World]] when [[Crota, Son of Oryx]] was tricked by [[Savathûn, the Witch Queen]] into opening a Vex portal. The conflict would last for centuries, with the Vex using the [[Sword Logic]] against the [[Hive]]. Oryx would return to his Throne World when he was ordered by his patron god, [[Eir, the Keeper of Order]] to put his house in order, he would kill and [[Taken|Take]] many of the Vex, and throw Crota into the Vex Network as punishment. The Taken King would confront and [[Taken|Take]] Quria, later giving the Taken Axis Mind to Savathûn as a gift.

At an unknown period of time, the [[Precursors]] would create the Weaver known as [[The Undying Mind|the Undying Mind]], to protect the [[Black Garden]], and ensure it remains under the Vex's control.

===Sealing the Garden===
Shortly after the destruction of the [[Black Heart]], the Undying Mind would awaken to seal the Black Garden away in [[Darkness]] and recreate the Black Heart. To prevent the ancient Axis Mind's plan, [[Ikora Rey]] would send a fireteam to destroy the Undying Mind. Despite its power, it would be defeated by the Guardians, preventing the Black Heart's return.

===Taken War===
[[Theosyion, the Restorative Mind]] would make it's way to the [[Echo Chamber]] on [[Venus]] to restore [[Sekrion, Nexus Mind]], so the Vex could resume their transformation of the planet into a machine world. However, the [[Vanguard]] would discover this plan, they would send a fireteam of Guardian's, who would successfully destroy Theosyion and stop the Vex's plans. 

Some time after the [[Taken War]], Savathûn would use Quria's ability to create a simulation of Oryx to gain control of the Taken. Quria would become an important part of the Witch Queen's plans.

===Return of the Undying Mind===
With the destruction of the [[Consecrated Mind, Sol Inherent|Sol]] [[Sanctified Mind, Sol Inherent|Inherent]] by a six Guardian fireteam, the Undying Mind would return. It would create hundreds of thousands of copies of itself across different realities. However Ikora Rey would create a modified Vex gate so they could track the Undying Mind across the different timelines. The Guardians would succeed, and the Undying Mind would be destroyed across every single timeline.

===The Endless Night===
Savathûn who was disguised as Osiris, would use Quria to create a powerful simulation, the [[Endless Night]], which would drain the [[Last City]] of its power. The Vanguard would work alongside the [[Fallen|Eliksni]], [[House of Light]] to stop the Endless Night. Guardian's would destroy multiple Axis Mind's across different planets and later discover Quria was behind the simulation. Quria would later restore [[Fantis, Oppressive Mind]], [[Dikast, Oppressive Mind]] and [[Dimio, Oppressive Mind]] to continue to fight against the Guardians. Despite the Taken Axis Mind's efforts, it would be confronted and meet its end to the [[The Guardian|Guardian]].
