Template:Species Infobox The Fallen is an alien species that fights against the remnants of the human race. They have been described as "a nomadic race of once noble houses now scattered to the solar winds."[1] They have 2 pairs of arms and typically wear a helmet with what appears to be respirator devices.[2] There will be some ways that said extra pairs of arms will affect combat. Concept art shows them with several Cabal indicating a possible alliance between the two species.[3]
When killed, a fallen's "souls" escapes it, as seen in the gameplay at E3[4], as well as in an interview.
The Fallen have apparently laid claim to all worlds and territories once owned by humanity, and fight the remnants of the human race for dominion over these areas.
