The Queen of the Reef is the ruler of the Reef, one of the few settlements outside of the City. She is simultaneously the ruler of the Awoken in the Reef and the Kell of the House of Wolves. Her aloof and enigmatic demeanor belie a ruthless nature, but she is not above helping others - for a price. She will refer to the player as "it", regardless of whether they're Awoken or not. Living on the edge of civilized space, so close to the darkness, the Queen knows many secrets, including how to enter the Black Garden.[1] She is also in contact with the Nine, the rulers of the Jovians, who allied with her in an unknown conflict.[2] She possesses expansionistic inclinations.[3]
The Queen is served by her brother, her Fallen bodyguards, her emissary, and her Witches.[2] She is the leader of the Queen's Wrath faction. [1]
