The '''Locus of Wailing Grief''' is a [[Taken Ogre]] and second boss of the [[Warlord's Ruin]] [[Dungeon]]. It is one of the Taken forces initially formed from the corruption of the [[Ahamkara]] [[Hefnd]].

The Locus of Wailing Grief appears upon the fireteam shooting the blight in the center. It has complete immunity, and will summon Taken to its aid, including [[Servile Minotaur]]s. To sever its shield, Guardians must shoot the six [[Blighted Eye]]s to summon [[Malaris, Second Broken Knight]] and [[Vrysiks, Third Broken Knight]]. Upon engaging with the Broken Knights, Guardians will gain the Imminent Wish, a buff that lasts for 29 seconds and allows players to cleanse the corrupted totems. Slaying the Broken Knights will drop Totems. They will also occasionally drop Totems through their attacks. When attempting to cleanse the totems, Guardians will gain the Biting Cold debuff, which will kill them upon reaching x10. To cleanse themselves of the debuff, the fireteam must interact with the torches to gain the Shelter From The Storm buff, removing all stacks of Biting Cold. Upon Imminent Wish reaching zero, [[Solar]] charges will appear for how many Totems you have cleansed. The fireteam must transfer these charges to the four pillars and lit them to begin the damage phase. To deal damage, the fireteam must stand in the vicinity around the pillars to gain Naeem's Wish Empowerment, which lasts for 14 seconds and allows them to damage the Locus, and Shelter From The Storm. The Locus of Wailing Grief is a Taken Ogre and second boss of the Warlord's Ruin Dungeon. Following the Witness's travel into the Pale Heart and excommunication of Xivu Arath from her Throne World, the Locus and its Taken would become aimless without a leader. They would eventually come under the command of the Ahamkara Hefnd due to his strong willpower.

Gameplay[edit]

The Locus of Wailing Grief appears upon the fireteam shooting the blight in the center. It has complete immunity, and will summon Taken to its aid, including Servile Minotaurs.
