Terrestrial Lieutenants are Major Colossi seen alongside Zo'aurc, Explicator of Planets aboard Essence.
Gameplay
Terrestrial Lieutenants appear within the Macrocosm, during the fight against Zo'aurc of the Root of Nightmares Raid. After a Honored Centurion is killed within the center arena, these units spawn on the Centurion's corresponding side and will engage the Guardians as soon as they appear. While not initially impressive, they are essential to defeating Zo'aurc. Upon killing a Terrestrial Lieutenant, a Guardian will gain Planetary Insight, showing which planets are covered in Light or Darkness, and can perform a Planetary Shift by interacting with a planet. Coordinating with players from the opposite side to properly index the planets is necessary to make Zo'aurc vulnerable. In Master mode of Root of Nightmares, Terrestrial Lieutenants are replaced by Barrier Colossi but they still retain their name.
