Upon entering the Splinter's Furnace, two [[Forum:Operant for Bael|Operants for Bael]] can be found at the central with a planet-cracker its base. When both are killed, Bael enters the room from a door on the opposite wall along with a large number of troops. Initially, he is has an immune shield that can be removed with damage from a [[Heavy Slug Thrower]] picked up from constantly spawning [[Forum:Heavy Armed Legionary|Heavy Armed Legionaries]]. Once removed, the shield begins to recharge for 30 seconds, during which time Bael can be damaged. When the shield recharges, it must be removed again with a Heavy Slug Thrower.
