However the Celebrant traps the Guardian out of the Ascendant Plane to kill Crow by breaking his legs and leaving him to die. The Guardian luckily jury rigs the lure they used to lure out Wrathborn as a way to force open the portal. The Guardian tracks down the Celebrant and with the help of Crow, they destroy the Celebrant for good, putting the creation of Wrathborn to a halt for the foreseeable future.
