Taken: Difference between revisions

Despite the fall of the [[Hidden Swarm]] and the Guardians hunting [[Nightmare]]s on Luna, Savathûn unleashed the Taken on to a massive Vex computational array on Io, with the intention to corrupt and assume control over the supercomputer. [[Baurisk, Envoy of Savathûn]], a Taken Incendior, was made as the leader of this Taken group. However, the Vanguard detected a power surge beneath the [[Pyramidion]] where the array is located, leading a fireteam to be sent to investigate. The Guardians soon discovered the feud between the Vex and Taken for control over the array but make it there mission to prevent the Taken from assuming command over machine, refusing to give the Witch-Queen another advantage.

Fighting past the array's Vex defenders and the invading Taken, the Guardians make it the center of the array, where the Taken infestation is anchored, to remove the blight. There, the Guardians confront Baurisk and after a lengthy battle, the Guardians succeed in slaying the Taken Incendior which clears the array of Taken blights, allowing the Vex to do the rest in cleaning up what remained of the lingering Taken.
