Ghaul having successfully stole some of the Traveler's Light managed to become a [[Lightbearer]]. However, the Light bestowed upon him was corrupted as stealing the Light is an act of [[Darkness]]. Ghaul explores his Light abilities by trying to use [[Radiance]] and due to his corrupted Light grows into a massive ethereal figure. He declares himself immortal as he speaks to the Traveler directly which promptly awakens the Traveler from its slumber, destroying the device harvesting its power and Ghaul himself.
