Alongside the Vex of the Chaos Collective, the Corrupted would be among the first few to detect the presence of a Taken influence within the Vex Domain. Using the rifts torn open by their Fallen and Vex allies, the Corrupted would begin to explore and investigate the inscrutable Vex Domain, as well as cautiously and covertly establish vector points where the Vex and mysterious Taken invaders couldn't find. Eventually, the Corrupted would discover the presence to be Quria from House Shadow and Chaos Collective expeditionaries. The Cult suggested the subversion of the Dreaming Mind in the hopes of hijacking it's influence and seizing control of the Vex who fell under it's thrall. However, they would be too late when they would discover the Mind's destruction at the hands of the Guardians. Despite this loss, however, the Corrupted would take what remained of it's body, harvest what data remained within it's rift-severed head and create a shadowy likeness of it in it's material stead.
