The Guardians' situation on the Moon soon grew complicated when the relic they acquired from the Pyramid began sending a signal to the Black Garden. As the Guardians prepared to investigate, [[Vex]] from the [[Sol Divisive]] began to invade the moon in mass numbers, with the apparent intent to claim the Pyramid for themselves, igniting a three-way conflict between the Guardians, the Hidden Swarm and the Sol Divisive for control of the moon. The Guardians managed to stem the tide of Vex after breaching the Black Garden and slaying the [[Axis Mind]] seeking control over the Pyramid but the Vex onslaught continued on regardless. It was soon discovered that the [[Undying Mind]] returned from its destruction and is leading the Vex in their campaign to control the moon.
