It's a good concept art of the Dreadnought's weapon, and here's where I found it, with the source linked in there: Reddit Destiny TTK - Hive Ship Firing Side Energy Gun by Frank Capezzuto III Dante the Ghost (talk) 00:49, 19 June 2016 (EDT)

:I predict in Destiny 2 that most of the Hive and Taken will be driven out of Earth and the Moon and return to the Dreadnaught. Then the Traveler will use a gravitational pull on the massive Hive ship and the Guardians will have enough distance from the Solar System to blow the Dreandnaught's core. This would alert the Worm Gods that Oryx and much of his Hive spawn have been destroyed and need Savathun and Xivu Arath to finish what Oryx started. Does this seem plausible? ::That's only speculation and a theory, not something Bungie has endorsed. Not something we can add to the article. However, even if this will come to pass, this presupposes the Traveler waking up. If the Traveler did wake up that'll indeed alert the rest of the Hive to come after it. Dante the Ghost (talk) 14:11, 6 October 2016 (EDT)

:Why are there still regular Hive enemies on the Dreadnaught when Oryx can just simply take them all? Titan66 (talk) 17:44, 06 October 2016 (EDT)]

::Because for one Taking the Hive would cripple his tribute line. Thrall kills go to the Acolytes; that and the Acolyte kills go to the Knight or Wizard, and they pass that to the Ascendant Hive, who then pass it up to the Hive god who rules them. Oryx basically owns a food delivery service. Not only that but the Taken are his direct servants and anything they kill goes directly to him, because they are in effect him. This hurts him in a way because his worm will demand more and more tribute, which grows exponentially with each mighty feat; eventually his outtakes will exceed his intakes. So the Hive tribute system is the only thing keeping Oryx alive, and we Guardians inadvertently discovered that when we killed Crota, forcing him to literally drop everything out of vengeance and come to kill us. Had he been more cold-blooded Oryx would have stalled his invasion, building up an army from whatever the hell he was doing, and then come to attack us. Check the Noru'usk, Servant of Oryx Grimoire card for that. Read this for more information. ==Size==
I did some research and the Dreadnaught is about one third of the size of Earth! For reference, I started out by looking at the picture of the Dreadnaught and the hole it makes in Saturn's rings. The hole is roughly 1/6 the width of the ring system. The Dreadnaught itself appears to be roughly 1/3 the size of the hole. I found out that the rings of Saturn are 72,000 km across. (In radius, not diameter.) So, at 1/18 that size, the Dreadnaught is something like 4,000 km long. That's gigantic! It's about 1/3 the width of the Earth, and considerably longer than the Moon! And that's just one part of Akka's corpse! And with how stiff it looks, He was probably much bigger than that! Maybe even bigger than Earth! And he was a flippn' dragon! His wingspan (if he had wings. If not he would be a drake or a Chinese Serpent.) could have been bigger than Mars! We are truly dealing with a massive threat! *You know, until Xol, Will of the Thousands ruined the size. Virgil the Ghost
*In reference to the above point, Akka was referred to be significantly bigger than Xol.
