| To encounter Extractor Captains, players need to join a Glimmer Extraction public event and battle through waves of [[Fallen]] reinforcements attempting to extract [[Glimmer]] from underground.

| After defeating them, the Extraction Crew will deploy their Captain in the 3 out of 4 step. The Extractor Captain will spawn with additional reinforcements and can differ in weapon use such as [[Shrapnel Launcher]], [[Shock Rifle]] and [[Shock Blade]]s. They also have high durability and have [[Arc]] [[Absorption shield]]s. Depending on the weapon they use, their gameplay can differ. A Shrapnel Captain is aggressive, while a Rifle Captain is evasive and the Blade Captain is close combat.
