| Clans have a much larger role in ''[[Destiny 2]]''. Players can form clans that include up to 100 [[Guardian]]s, and create custom clan banners for their clans. Additionally, using Guided Games, clan members can assist players with a variety of activities through matchmaking, such as normal-level [[Raid]]s.

| After joining a clan in ''Destiny 2'', players can acquire a Clan Banner from Hawthorne, the Clan Steward. This Banner has six levels with offset XP requirements, and clan members can only contribute a total of 100,000 XP per week. Each level grants a specific bonus:

| *Level 2 (100,000 XP) - Gain additional [[Glimmer]] when looting engrams
