Into the Light is a content update that was announced on November 27th, 2023. The update, released on April 9th and continuing throughout the rest of April and May of 2024, is intended to fill the gap between the narrative story of Season of the Wish and the delayed release of The Final Shape. Story: It Begins

  • Onslaught: a 3-player activity where Guardians set up defenses around the Last City and defend the Advanced Defense Unit from the Witness's forces in increasingly difficult waves. Guardians can also take the fight inside the Pyramid Ship.
  • Pantheon: a new activity where players face raid bosses with increasing difficulty. The player's Power level decreases as more raid bosses become available, up to the equivalent of a Raid with the Contest modifier active.
