Following an operation against the [[Taken]] on [[Venus]], Lakshmi was visited by [[The Guardian]], who brought her the remains of a [[Ghost]] belonging to an unknown [[Warlock]] named [[Praedyth]] that had been recovered deep within the [[Vault of Glass (location)|Vault of Glass]]. She was fascinated by the fact that the Ghost carried files within its corrupted memory that were stamped with Cult headers that she would have had to authorize but had no memory of doing so. Lakshmi explained to the Guardian that while the Hive sought to eat them, the Fallen sought to steal from them, and the Cabal sought their planet, only the Vex had the power to take their past from them.
