After [[Oryx, the Taken King|Oryx]] fought his way out of the [[Ascendant realm|Deep]] after being trapped within by his sisters [[Savathûn, the Witch Queen|Savathûn]] and [[Xivu Arath, God of War|Xivu Arath]], he decided that he needed children to carry on his lineage and ensure his flow of tribute was always greater than that of his siblings.
