Savathûn was present alongside the Witness and its Disciples as the Black Fleet ravaged Earth during The Collapse. When Nezarec secured the paracausal entity known as the Veil for the Witness' plans, Savathûn betrayed Nezarec, killing him and cursing his remains while hiding the Veil away on Neptune.
