Based on speculation from the grimoire it is implied the [[Cabal]] have been at war with Oryx and the Taken for some time as the Cabal arrived on Mars apparently to flee Oryx and his army.


Oryx appears to be able to take multiple forms, with his first being that of a floating shadowy figure, bearing superficial resemblance to a [[Wizard]], seen most often outside of the [[Dreadnaught]].
