Forming holdouts all across the [[EDZ]], the Scourge began smuggling their tainted Black Armory contraband to [[House of Dusk]] deserters whilst making a push into the Spider's [[Tangled Shore|territory]] as his competition. When the Fallen-manufactured Black Armory gear made its way to the Guardians, [[Ada-1]] immediately enlists them in recovering said gear as evidence presented to the Spider. Attempts at tracking Siviks and his tainted Black Armory caches across the European Dead Zone lead to a delivery note yielding the Scourge's [[The Conflux|hideout]] on Nessus. There the Guardians disrupted an exchange between Siviks and [[Telksis the Pillager, Kell's Scourge|Telksis, the Pillager]]. Killing the latter, the Guardians successfully recovered the caches and secured the Gofannon Forge from [[Serekis-9, Kell's Scourge|Serekis-9]].<ref name=Gofannon/>

The Kell's Scourge had marched their forces upon the ruins of the [[Last City]] and occupied a desolate section of it, unleashing their [[Prime Servitor]], [[Insurrection Prime, Kell's Scourge|Insurrection Prime]] to excavate the Armory's most precious vault and plunder it of its powerful weapons. In retaliation, Ada and the [[Vanguard]] issued a six manned [[raid]] into Scourge territory and secure the vault at all costs.
