Imperial Invitation was an exotic quest featured in Destiny 2 which involved the Leviathan raid.[1] Taking place after the base story campaign, players must answer the invitation of the former Cabal Emperor Calus and earn his favor from completing his tasks, giving the Exotic Heavy Shotgun Legend of Acrius upon completion of the quest. The quest chain starts from killing any random Cabal enemy and resides in the Power Weapon slot.
Steps[edit]
1. On the Comms[edit]
Return to Nessus and recover communication ciphers from Red Legion troops.

Players collect Red Legion Communications quest items dropped off of defeated Red Legion Cabal.
2. Await the World-Eater[edit]
The decrypted communications indicate something is coming. Look for the arrival of the "World-Eater."

This step was used before the Leviathan raid was released. The players now skip this part of the quest.
3. Destroyer of Worlds[edit]
Board the world-eater vessel and defeat raid "Leviathan." Grow fat from strength.

Seek out the strange, hacked frame skulking in the Bazaar at the Tower.

5. End the Arms Dealer[edit]
Complete Strike Quest: The Arms Dealer in EDZ.

This 300 Power Level Legend-difficulty Strike has to be launched from the quest beacon in the EDZ. The weapon given for competing this quest step is an inferior version of the actual Exotic. It cannot be moved from the player character's inventory, gives no materials when dismantled and does not unlock its entry in the collections. Should the player dismantle this weapon, they can recover it from Benedict 99-40.
6. Back to the Bazaar[edit]
Seek out the strange, hacked frame skulking in the bazaar at the Tower.

7. Cabal Killer[edit]
Seek out Cabal soldiers across the solar system and end their lives with the weapon Acrius. Complete the following objectives with Acrius:
- Objective 1: Eliminate Cabal
- Objective 2: Eliminate Cabal at close range
- Objective 3: Eliminate multiple Cabal without reloading
- Objective 1 Complete: 25
- Objective 2 Complete: 15
- Objective 3 Complete: 10
8. Benedict at the Bazaar[edit]
Seek out the strange, hacked frame skulking in the bazaar at the Tower.

9. His Highness's Seal[edit]
Eliminate bosses and complete raid "Leviathan" to acquire Emperor Seals.

Each chest rewarded for completing a raid encounter grants one Emperor Seal. Players gets a Seal even if they have already received their reward for an encounter for the week.
10. Benedict Beneath[edit]
Seek out the strange, hacked frame skulking in the bazaar at the Tower.

Notes[edit]
Benedict 99-40 will give the fully upgraded Legend of Acrius but the quest does not end there.

11. Always a Hero[edit]
Return once more to the Leviathan and complete the raid on Prestige difficulty.

Notes[edit]
Speak to Benedict 99-40 to receive the Emperor's Pleasure weapon ornament as your final reward and complete the quest chain.
