Yamaat, Ascendant Sentinel is a Major Taken Knight that appears in the Dark Monastery Mission. They are first encountered in the Rheasilvia area, where they defend the entrance to the Harbinger's Seclude from hordes of Scorn, led by Drekaa, Warmonger Chieftain, before they are killed by the Guardian. They are later found within the Seclude, alongside Teksis and Om Alir, where they attempt to bar the way to the Ascendant Portal there.

Yamaat can also appear throughout the City when both Scorn and Taken forces begin to move against each other.
