Regrouping at their stronghold of [[Ceres]], the Wolves were challenged by the [[Awoken]] of the [[Reef]]. Overconfident, Virixas met their challenge and deployed his forces. In what became known as the Scatter, [[Mara Sov|Queen Mara Sov]] activated powerful weapons called Harbingers that destroyed half of the Wolves' numbers.
