| Az'Arak is a Hive Guardian and former member of the [[Lucent Brood]]. He is also the leader of the Shattered Brood and a vendor located at the Shattered Coven. He appears as a player friendly unit in several missions and a strike.

| Az'Arak was born in the [[Grasp of Nokris]]. He dutifully served his masters until his death at the hands of the Guardian. He was later resurrected by a Hive ghost in service of [[Savathûn, the Witch Queen]]. He and his ghost grew disillusioned with Savathun and he deserted taking some of his comrades with him. Finding solace in the writings of Toland, he founded the Shattered Brood to serve and protect him.
