At the Battle of Anadyr River, the Manipulars were believed to have been wiped out by overwhelming Android force. But disparate reports and travelers' tales long suggested some survived, and that they now dwell hidden in exile.
Whether or not these accounts are true remains to be seen, as evidence regarding the order's continued existence has proven difficult, if not impossible, to obtain.
