Unstoppable Taken Phalanxes are former elite Cabal linemen that were taken and granted enhanced durability and stamina by the Darkness.

Gameplay

Like their minor counterparts, the Unstoppable Taken Phalanx will stay near the middle of the carnage, blocking off shots from enemies and moving in for a concussive blast from their shield. Though the blast takes a little bit longer to charge up, it unleashes a more violent blast, dealing more damage and sending opponents flying farther. Another notable trait about the Phalanx is their durability and immunity to staggering; a trait in which they will relentlessly use to their advantage to close in on an opponent. To counter the Phalanx's resilience, the player(s) should utilize Anti-Unstoppable rounds from the Seasonal Artifact to temporarily stun the Phalanx and leave them more exposed and susceptible to damage.

Trivia

• A variant of the Unstoppable Taken Phalanx, Savathûn's Marionette, can be found patrolling Io at The Rupture, often seen guarding a Taken Disruptor Centurion.
