The Treasured Knights were Ultra Hive Knights seen in the Hunted encounter and during the Arunak boss. There were two variants of the Knight: the Darkblade variant that was seen in both encounters and the normal Knight variant that was seen only in the Hunted.
Gameplay[edit]
The Darkblade variant often appeared within the Hunted encounter, deployed to clear anyone off the Lamp plates. They had a large health pool and dealt a devastating area-of-effect attack with their axes, which were much smaller than the axe that they were modeled after, yet still just as deadly. The normal Knight appeared only when the middle plate was being controlled, laying into the team with its Boomer while slowly approaching the plate to preform a fist of darkness. Killing these Knights provided bonus points to the progression bar, so killing them was optional but very helpful to alleviate pressure off the plates with the exception of the Master difficulty where the higher point threshold demanded them to be killed. The Darkblades also appeared during the fight with Arunak, Beloved by Calus, where they were summoned once Arunak's health reached a third. They could be killed, but not doing so provided a triumph once Arunak was killed.
