The home-world of the Witness was once blessed by the traveller to which they referred to as the “Gardener.” For eons they lived in prosperity but lacked a purpose which the traveller did not provide them with. They discovered that the traveller had a tie to another entity among the stars called the veil. By studying it they came to understand the darkness and a way to “calcify reality, into a final shape.” This was now their purpose. | |||
