While at the new Tower, Ghost and the Guardian are called by [[Ikora Rey|Ikora]]. Once they arrive she shows them the deactivated [[Sagira]] and tells them to reactivate her so as to learn if they can find [[Osiris]]. Once Ghost and the Guardian reach the location and the means to reactivate Sagira he is accidentally possessed by Sagira. For most of the campaign, Ghost is deactivated until Sagira's consciousness is captured by [[Panoptes, Infinite Mind]] and he thus regains his mind. Together, Ghost and the Guardian rescue Sagira, erase Panoptes, save [[Mercury]], reunite Osiris and Ikora and prevent a Vex controlled future from occurring.

Even so, Ghost didn't take lightly that Sagira "stole" his Guardian and possessed him. Ghost continues to hold a dislike towards Sagira when she comments on working together again, to which he tells her to leave his Guardian alone.<ref>[https://www.destinypedia.com/A_Garden_World#Transcript]</ref>

The Ghost didn't really do much during [[Warmind (expansion)]]. Aside from explaining some things that [[Ana Bray]] said. He didn't do much.

During [[Forsaken]] he revealed a darker less cheery personality. While he didn't advocate going after [[Uldren Sov]], he did want revenge for what Uldren had done. At times he was worried that the Guardian would lose their way hunting down the [[Scorn]] Barons.

During [[Shadowkeep]], The Ghost worried about [[Eris Morn]] but agreed on her plan of getting into the pyramid. After fighting nightmares, crafting the full set of [[Dreambane Armor]] and gaining access to the pyramid, his shell was controlled by the darkness, removing ghost's control of his shell temporarily.

During [[Beyond Light]], ghost got a transmission from [[Variks, the Loyal|Variks]] about a new, dark power which is [[Stasis]]. After activating some communication relays for a secret rebel communication system, a [[Crux of Darkness]] appeared and controls ghost's shell again. After the guardian got a [[Splinter of Darkness]], ghost is now worried that the guardian will forget about the [[Light]] and get consumed by the [[Darkness]]. After defeating [[Eramis, Kell of Darkness]] using [[Stasis]], ghost made a promise that he will be with the guardian, in light or dark.

During [[Witch Queen]], The Ghost is shown to vehemently oppose the concept of Ghosts bonding to non-human Guardians. At one point, he even shouts down [[Savathun]], proclaiming that she had killed many of his friends (notably [[Sagira]]).

During [[The Witch Queen]], many of Ghost's insecurities were forced to the surface, primarily having to come to terms with how many other Ghosts had turned to work for the Hive. At first, Ghost couldn't fathom seeing the Hive wielding the Light and having ghosts of their own, denouncing the Hive Ghosts as traitors. It was these feelings that had Ghost act somewhat hostile towards [[Fynch]], a renegade Hive Ghost but would accept him as an ally. Alongside this was his rage when [[Savathûn, the Witch Queen]] asked him how he feels being the bad guy in the eyes of the [[Traveler]], to which he responded in abject anger pointing out all the horrendous things the Hive had done to Ghosts and Humanity, leaving Savathûn silent. Further, he firmly stated his commitment and loyalty to humanity, proclaiming he would rather die than betray humanity.
