Terrabase Charon is a location in Echo Mesa on Io. During the Red War, the Red Legion used the place as a base while mining the Traveler's energy to fulfill Ghaul's plan.

Trivia

• Terrabase Charon contains flags and emblems of both the Dust Giants and Sand Eaters, otherwise absent from the Destiny 2 base game.
  • This might hint against previous activity by these factions at the base, and that they later abandoned it because of unknown reasons.
  • It can also mean that some of the soldiers operating the base originally comes from either the Sand Eaters or the Dust Giants, but were recruited by Ghaul to work for the Red Legion.
