Warpriest a lesser or greater Ascendant Hive?

Should he be classed as a lesser Ascendant Hive like an admiral or general while Crota be ranked as a greater Ascendant Hive much like a Prince? -- Titan66 (talk) 13:18, 25 October 2016 (EDT)

I don't think there is any distinction, but he'd be a greater Ascendant. The Warpriest is older because the Golden Amputation takes place much further in the Books of Sorrow where Crota only appears in Eater of Hope, near the end, and the Warpriest demonstrates more tactical skill and power than Crota. At the very least he tithes directly to Oryx and is a member of his Court while Crota was banished as penance for letting in the Vex. Dante the Ghost (talk) 13:25, 25 October 2016 (EDT)

Along with that, Warpriest is able to have an Oversoul, which only the top of the class Hive possess. Such as Oryx, Crota, and Savathun. ---Virgil the Ghost

Ahamkara Skull

Doesn't the Warpriest's helm look similar to Riven's head when all of her shells are closed? Perhaps his helmet looks so unique because it's the skull of an Ahamkara he's slain in his years of conquest? ---Vergil the Ghost
